THE SITE

Once a neglected farm, the land’s unique and delicate biodiversity is being restored through intensive rejuvenation.
World-renowned environmental impact specialists, ecologists and fynbos experts are working together to build an intricate ecosystem which will become home to the flora and fauna endemic to the area. Natural wetlands are being preserved and enhanced to protect the endangered Leopard Toad and the housing line follows the contours of the mountain, allowing natural gully forests to grow between the houses for privacy and wind protection.
The estate has also been designed to cater specifically to the needs of the natural fynbos which is part of the
Cape Floral Kingdom – one of only six floral kingdoms in the world. Enjoy every beautiful Cape day to its fullest on Chapman’s Bay Estate and, as the sun sets, celebrate life as you revel
in the natural beauty that surrounds you.
